FC 27 releases worldwide on 25 September 2026, with Ultimate Edition early access from 18 September. Every unlock time in one table.
EA SPORTS FC 27 releases worldwide on 25 September 2026. PC unlocks on 24 September at 23:00 UTC. Every other platform unlocks at 00:00 local time on 25 September.
There are three ways to play earlier. Ultimate Edition and Ultimate Plus Edition owners get full access from 18 September. EA Play Pro members can play the full game from 17 September at 23:00 UTC. EA Play members get a 10-hour trial from 18 September at 04:00 UTC.
The free FC 27 Lite version is last, arriving on 25 September at 16:00 UTC.

EA calls the head start “up to 7 days” because 18 September to 25 September is exactly seven days. Early access is not a trial. Progress made by Ultimate Edition owners carries into the full game.
Converting the unlock time to your timezone
EA publishes one UTC time and one “local time” rule. There is no per-timezone table.
PC uses a single moment: 23:00 UTC. In mainland China (UTC+8) that is 07:00 the next morning. On the US east coast in September (UTC-4) it is 19:00 local time.
Console and handheld versions are easier. They unlock when the calendar flips to 25 September in your region, so 00:00 local time.
Why some Asian markets launch later
Korea, Vietnam and mainland China have separate release windows and separate local publishers:
- Korea: 2 October 2026
- Vietnam: 9 October 2026
- Mainland China: 23 October 2026
If you buy through Steam or a console store, your account region decides which store you see and which unlock time applies.
What the free FC 27 Lite version includes
FC 27 Lite is a free download that arrives on 25 September at 16:00 UTC.
It comes to PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, the EA app, Steam and the Epic Games Store. EA says it includes a selection of modes such as Kick-Off, and you can upgrade to the full game at any point.
Lite is not the EA Play trial and it is not early access. It is an open free entry point with limited content.
Can you still buy the Ultimate Plus Edition
No. The Ultimate Plus Edition was only sold during the early bird window from 23 July to 31 August 2026.
The two editions still on sale are Ultimate and Standard. Pre-order pricing ends on 24 September 2026 at 23:00 UTC.
